Be courteous.
Be aware that Pimp It 3D is a diverse community with a wide range of opinions. We all want to be treated with respect. Being respectful to others makes the community better for all.
Be a good citizen.
When you see a great custom design, vote on it and give it a thumbs-up. If something looks to be an abuse of Pimp It 3D, report it. We're committed to doing our best to stop abuse on Pimp It 3D, and with your help, we can make a difference.
Cite your sources.
Researching designs, and taking inspiration from others is encouraged, but plagiarism is not. By citing sources, using quotation marks, and including hyperlinks, you make your community stronger.
Ask clearly.
When commenting or describing your pimped design for example be as succinct as possible. Be descriptive enough to enable others to understand what you're contributing. Correct spelling and grammar help others find your content when searching, and you'll get better responses when others can clearly understand something you've contributed.

Pimp It 3D is a publicly accessible area. You should exercise caution if you choose to disclose personally identifiable information on a publicly accessible area. Remember that this information may remain indefinitely in the publicly accessible area. Also, there are various functions on Pimp It 3D that allow other Pimp It 3D users to view all your custom designs collectively.
Response to violations
Pimp It 3D does not edit publicly contributed content within Pimp It 3D. However, Pimp It 3D reserves the right to remove contributions that have been notified to us or comes to our attention that we determine to be inappropriate and/or in violation of the Pimp It 3D Code Of Conduct or the Pimp It 3D Terms Of Use. Depending on the level of offence, violating the Code Of Conduct may result in the termination of your account with Pimp It 3D without warning. Pimp It 3D isn't a soapbox to vent personal frustrations or rant. We are a community of people with diverse beliefs, opinions, and backgrounds, so please be respectful and keep hateful and incendiary comments off Pimp It 3D.
Chatting or otherwise violating the customisation and collaboration format.

Being mean or obscene
Because children as young as 13 may participate in Pimp It 3D, sexually explicit and vulgar language and images are not welcome on the site. Also not welcome are belligerence, insults, slurs and generally objectionable speech. If you wouldn't say the stuff in public, don't post it on here.
Exploiting the community
Pimp It 3D is a place to develop design skills, share knowledge and have fun, not somewhere to gain customers, page views and irrelevant links to your site. It is not fine to post links that are unrelated to a contribution or are clearly meant only to solicit others for personal and financial gain. Also prohibited are solicitations or propositioning people.
Cheating
The voting system is meant to reward the community members for sharing their fresh pimped designs, so creating ways for the sole purpose of gaining points or soliciting others for votes is not permitted.
Violating the law
Members of Pimp It 3D are not above the law, so don't post anything that violates the laws of your country, state, province, or city. Do not try to trick people into sharing their personal information, steal anything (like copyright or trademark material), or break into places you shouldn't be. Don't threaten, harass, impersonate, or hurt others, and don't invade other people's privacy.
Doing harm
Be responsible and don't misrepresent yourself, claim false credentials or expertise or give advice in a way that might cause someone harm. Don't incite or advocate violence or harmful practices.
Maliciously misbehaving
Don't post links to sites that contain viruses or malicious programs or that interfere with the operation of Pimp It 3D.
Misusing Pimp It 3D
Don't create multiple accounts to troll or otherwise violate these guidelines or the Pimp It 3D Terms Of Use. Don't post things that are incomprehensible or in the wrong language, and don't post the same content over and over again. The community depends on you to report abuse and rate contributions, so using product features such as report abuse and ratings to target others is not allowed.
